Our usual rich banquet of readings and songs, led by Bishop John. The choral items had a German/Austrian theme – arrangements of traditional Christmas melodies, including an energetic, dance-like rendition of Es ist ein’ Ros’ entsprungen with choir, brass and organ taking it in turns to sparkle.
